ABOUT MIKE
Mike Walker started doing Elvis impressions when he was just 5 years old, jumpsuits and all. As he grew up, he was continually adding new voices to his collection of impersonations he could flawlessly perform. Little wonder that today Mike delivers the best impressions of more singers and famous people than any other performer and has become known as the “World’s Greatest Singing Impressionist”.
Mike is a multi-talented entertainer and is not limited to just doing impressions of other stars. Mike is an accomplished singer-songwriter and signed a record deal with Dreamworks in Nashville in 2000. They released four of his songs to country radio and as a result Mike pleased audiences across the country when he toured with acts like Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Urban, Lonestar, The Bellamy Brothers and Alabama, just to name a few. His original music is an integral part of every show and will give you a deep appreciation for Mike Walker as an artist in his own right.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Branson stages are full of performers who sing songs that became hits by the big stars of Country Music and Rock ‘n Roll. But when Mike performs these songs you hear them in the voice that made them famous. Mike brings great voices of the past and present to life on the GOD AND COUNTRY Theatre stage, like superstars Conway Twitty, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Freddy Fender and Brooks-n-Dunn. He jumps into Soul and Rock ‘n Roll doing his real to life sounds of Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Louie Armstrong, Kermit, Stevie Wonder, Bon Jovi, Guns-n-Roses and Michael Jackson. Plus he also does the voices of great American Presidents and other famous people you will easily recognize.
Mike has a genuinely warm personality and the ability to establish an intimate rapport with his audiences. Everyone in your group will feel as though they know him personally. He also has a way of taking on the personas of some of America’s best-known entertainers and even looks like them as he sings their songs and imitates their speaking voices. If your group could see only one Branson performance, no other show would come close to delivering all the great songs and voices that come from the vocal chords of this one very talented entertainer, Mike Walker.
