ABOUT THE EAGLES

Remember where you were the first time you heard an Eagles song? Take a trip back in time and relive some of those great memories with ‘Take It to the Limit” EAGLES Tribute Show! This show features six very talented musicians who have a passion for getting it right. No other Branson show presents music like this, made famous by one of America’s best-loved bands that started recording in the early 1970’s and is still at it.

Why a tribute to the Eagles? Because this iconic American country-rock band has done it all! Early hits like “Take It Easy” and “Witchy Woman” launched their popularity and their first albums set them apart. “Desperado” was released in 1973 and became the hallmark of the group’s storytelling songwriting style. In 1975 their fourth album “One of These Nights” was certified “Gold” within a week of its release. In 1976 their “Greatest Hits 1971-1975” sold over a million copies on its release, earning the first RIAA Platinum Award given in that category. During that same year the band was awarded its first Grammy for the single “Lyin’ Eyes” and their next album “Hotel California” was released. The single of “Hotel California” earned them one of two Grammies awarded in 1978. They toured extensively, charted more hits and recorded great albums like their 1981 “Eagles Live” before they disbanded in that same year. After taking a 14 year “vacation”, in 1994 they released their comeback album “Hell Freezes Over”, which quickly reached #1 on the Billboard Charts. In 1988 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They continue to turn out amazing records to this day.

This show is about great music and presenting “the sound” of the Eagles live, no tracks. When these six guys step out on stage, they put their hearts into every measure of every song they play. Whether they are rockin’ out “James Dean” or “Get Over It” or presenting the soothing sounds of “Peaceful Easy Feeling” or “Tequila Sunrise” the audience is with them on every beat, singing along and clapping rhythm. Their vocals are superb, the harmonies are stirring and from the minute this show starts, you can tell that the success of this show is because Take It to the Limit band members are great singers and exciting musicians, performing the music they love.

Finally, this show is loved by all ages. The music of the Eagles has transcended generations and these show tickets sell to seniors in high school and seniors who arrive on buses.
